Osvaldo Mariscotti: Symphony
This exhibition catalogue examines Osvaldo Mariscotti’s sophisticated engagement with the fundamental vocabulary of abstraction. Mariscotti’s systematic exploration of color, line, and geometric form productively complicates the aesthetic principles established by Suprematism and Neo-Plasticism. Through careful analysis of key works like Black Beauty (2013), the publication reveals how Mariscotti’s motifs morph and migrate between sculptural and pictorial space without losing their essential formal relationships. Mariscotti’s musical sensibility—his ability to orchestrate variations on core themes with dramatic range and emotional resonance—has earned his work a place in major international collections while establishing him as a vital voice in the ongoing evolution of non-objective art.
